I am not a therapist or a social worker, lawyer or crisis counselor, but rather a certified peer support specialist with a passion for liberation and social justice. My lived experience as a queer and disabled person navigating healthcare and systems, greatly informs my work. As well as my professional experience working with LGBTQIA+ foster youth, crisis line volunteer, and many year of IHSS and caregiving.

Peer support happens when people give encouragement, knowledge, and care to others who face similar life challenges or occupy similar identities, for example madness or experiencing systemic ableism.

We meet for one-hour sessions either via phone or video call through Google Meet, whichever is your preference.

Even though I think capitalism sucks, I am not able to offer sliding scale currently. That said, I’m deeply committed to financial accessibility, so let’s find a way to make it work! I offer payment plans and I am hoping to offer solidarity scholarships for folks at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities in the future.

We’ll cover this more in detail once we decide to work together, but the gist is that I invoice through Square. There’s no set-up for you; you just need to have a credit or debit card. If you’re on a payment plan, you’ll get monthly invoices that will auto-debit from your card on the same day each month. It’s easy for both of us.

My Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certificate informs my work, but I am not paneled with Medi-Cal or any other insurance company.
